Dichroic Glass Bracelets
Our collection of dichroic glass bracelets comprise dichroic glass mounted in 925 sterling silver. All dichroic bracelets come complete with a presentation box. Bracelets are suitable as wrist wear for wrists up to 7 inches in diameter. Each bracelet has an overall length of aprox 7.5 inches. Note colour and patern of your dichroic jewellery will be similar in apperance but not the same as each piece of dichrohic glass is unique. Dichroic Glass is a multi-layered coating placed on glass by using different quartz crystals and metal oxides. The process incolves multiple kiln firings which vapourises and condenses condenses on the surface of the glass in the form of a crystal structure. The colours can have as many as 30 layers of these materials yet the thickness of the total coating is approximately 35 millionths of an inch. The coating that is created is very similar to a gemstone and by careful control in thickness different colours are obtained.
